A short stroll down a winding road leads to a stretch of beautiful, wild, and secluded Lake Huron shoreline, a favourite beach among locals. King Fishers and Blue Heron make their appearance on the river while Snowy Owls visit surrounding fields in the wintry months. Hummingbirds, Chickadees, Finches, Blue jays, Orioles, and Cardinals can be seen from the porch throughout your stay. Frogs and Crickets can be heard throughout the summer and Deer, Coyote, Fox, Racoon, Rabbit, Squirrels, and Chipmunks all grace this land with their presence when we are still enough. Trout can be seen and heard jumping in the river. Be aware that Coyotes can be heard nearby after dark.
