We are located just 4 miles (10 mins.) from A. I. DuPont Children's Hospital. With the exception of certain Premium Dates we only accept reservations of less than 7 days when the arrival date is within 30 days, unless we have other guests immediately preceding or following the requested stay. Bancroft Cottage is situated in a safe and desirable neighborhood just a little north of downtown Wilmington. You will find recommendations of restaurants and other activities with the Instructions provided with your Agreement. Wilmington has a train and bus station, but getting around is easiest by car. There are restaurants within walking distance. Bring your toothbrush ... most everything else is there waiting for you.
