The Ole Bear Rustic Mountain Cabin

The Ole Bear cabin is a fully furnished 2 br/1 ba surrounded by the beautiful Cherokee National Forest and overlooking historic Coker Creek. This rustic mountain cabin is nestled in the SE corner of TN between GA and NC with a backyard filled with hundreds of miles of recreation. The Ole Bear is the perfect destination for a romantic getaway, family vacation, or an adventure filled weekend. The space Have some relaxation time at the Ole Bear cabin with a morning cup of coffee in a rocking chair on the private wrap-around porch while taking in views of the Unicoi Mountains and listening to the calming sounds of water flowing in historic Coker Creek or perhaps enjoy the song of the Whip-poor-will while having a romantic candlelit dinner at the outdoor dining area overlooking the firepit. Guest access Why vacation in someone's part-time home when you can stay in your very own mountain retreat? The Ole Bear cabin was designed and furnished with you in mind. As a guest you have private access to the entire cabin and property including control of the heating & cooling system, a gas fireplace, WiFi, two Roku TVs, gas and propane grills, an adjoining picnic area, a firepit with stocked firewood and walking trails to a creek overlook. Other things to note - The second bedroom suite area is accessed by ascending an enclosed spiral staircase, which can be blocked by closing a door at the base of the stairwell. - WiFi internet access is available, but cell service is very sporadic in the mountains. There is no cellular or landline phone service at the cabin, but most cell phones can call/text over WiFi. - Live television channels are available through YouTubeTV (ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, ESPN & other popular cable networks). - Check-in is AFTER 3:00pm and check-out is BEFORE 10:00am.
