De Pijp Hotel
Description
PLEASE CONTACT US to see if we can help lower the overall costs! Right off Sarphatipark in the "de Pijp" area of Amsterdam, we offer a peaceful, central oasis. Our home is bright, warm, and is the perfect base from which to explore the city. Great for travelers or those needing a soft landing when relocating to NL - Vibrant neighborhood - Supermarkets, shops, bars & restaurants galore - 2 trams (3min) and a metro (8min) nearby - Responsive and caring hosts The space There is global uncertainty at the moment, and we want our home to feel like a sanctuary for those that choose to stay. Some highlights: • 80m2 spacious 2-bedroom apartment; • Open park 2 minutes away; • Small balcony that gets morning sun; • Supermarkets, drug stores, pharmacies nearby; • High-speed, consistent WiFi; • Fully functional kitchen with everything you need; On the main floor you will find a spacious dining area, a small balcony, a *tiny* WC, an oversized living room, and a compact-but-fully-functional kitchen. Upstairs, the two bedrooms and full bathroom complete the space. Please be aware that the stairs leading up to the apartment are steep and narrow for international standards, though they are typical for Amsterdam. There is an open internal spiral staircase between the two apartment floors as well, FYI. Supermarkets, restaurants, coffeeshops, and other amenities are within a 5-minute walk away. Our guidebook has plenty of suggestions on what's good in the area, but please feel free to reach out with specific questions! We support local businesses, which are hurting at the moment, and would love to share our favorites! We take pride in making your stay as enjoyable and care-free as possible, and are always here to help with suggestions. A few things to note: As of 2018, Amsterdam had the highest average Airbnb prices in all of Europe, and prices have only continued to rise. This is a result of increased taxes, tightened restrictions on how often one can host in their home, and an overall housing shortage in general. Before booking our home, please be aware that we are neither a hotel nor a luxury accommodation, but try to offer an authentic Amsterdam living experience. If you prefer to have your sheets ironed, or expect a brand-new home free of personal belongings, it's best to search elsewhere. We are an artist couple (photographer and filmmaker) who love to travel and to open our home to those visiting Amsterdam. We host in the apartment when we are out of town. This means that you will find our belongings in the closets and drawers, as well as food in the kitchen cabinets and refrigerator. Additionally, we leave toiletries in the bathroom, so that guests do not have to purchase additional items during their stay. Guests have access to all of these products, in the interest in keeping costs low. Guest access Guests have access to the entire apartment. We may close off a room or a closet during your stay for storage. We try to keep a closet or two empty for guests, but drawer space is not guaranteed. Other things to note We ask that you be mindful of our downstairs neighbor. Feel free to say "hallo" if you see him, and make sure not to ring his bell in the middle of the night! We live in the the house when it isn't booked, so appearances may change. Registration details 0363 C2AA 826C BE27 D5DE
