Cozy Vintage Cabin on Lake Katherine in Minocqua!

Pine Cove Cabin, featured in the Oct/Nov ‘23 issue of Country Living magazine, sits on the shores of pristine Lk Katherine just 5 minutes south of Minocqua. Lk Katherine is known locally as the "queen of lakes", and after you visit you'll know why. The cabin itself has undergone an extensive renovation while maintaining all of it's 95+ years of charm and nostalgia. Enjoy sunset views and nights by the fire. Firewood is included. Private pier. Kayaks, canoes and SUPs on-site for guest use! The space Pine Cove Cabin sleeps 15 and gives guests ample space to spread out and settle in amongst its 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The main level of the cabin boasts three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a cozy living room complete with a wood burning fireplace and built-in baby gate, a huge sunroom with dining for 12 and a separate sitting area, a functional (and fun!) kitchen with dishwasher, and a porch with extra storage and a charming Smeg fridge! The lower level offers two additional bedrooms, a large bathroom, a cozy living room with a second smart TV and gas fireplace, a game room with pool table and laundry (available at no extra cost). As you exit the sunroom, you’ll find yourself at the firepit (firewood is provided). From there, make your way to the outdoor kitchen where you can cook on the Traeger Flat Rock, Traeger Smoker or Weber charcoal grill and eat dinner under the bistro lights of the pergola. Planters filled with fresh herbs complete the outdoor cooking and dining experience. Lakeside, 110’ of private frontage is all yours! A screened gazebo with mini fridge, lakeside deck with lounge chairs, large dock, hammock and swim raft make for endless fun and relaxation. Kathy, a 12’ Alumacraft row boat with oars, is on-site for guest use. Feel free to rent/bring along an 8-10hp motor to allow you to explore all of Lake Katherine. Additionally, we offer two canoes, two kayaks, and two SUPs as well as paddles, life jackets and sand toys for the little ones! Lake Katherine is a great bass, muskie and walleye lake year-round! A snowmobile trail traverses Lake Katherine, and there is a public boat landing for use during the warmer months. Renting a pontoon locally couldn’t be easier, as the rental agencies will drop the boat into the water for you and pick it up when you’re done. Linens are NOT provided. Guests must supply their own bed sheets and bath/beach/kitchen towels. Beds are very comfortable with ample pillows and wool blankets. Guest access The cabin and surrounding 1.25 acres are all yours when you visit Pine Cove. Roughly 110’ of Lake Katherine frontage, a private lakeside screened gazebo, large dock, grass volleyball court, sand beach area for kids, hammock, water toys, firepit, and outdoor kitchen are sure to entertain your group throughout your stay! Other things to note Guests are responsible for bringing linens, and laundry is available on-site (no extra charge). Think bed sheets and bath/kitchen/beach towels. Blankets and pillows are provided. All beds have mattress and pillow protectors.
