Dorze Lodge

The community-based Dorze Lodge offers accommodations located 17 mi from Abra Minch. Catering for the more adventurous traveler, this lodge offers guests first-hand experiences with the local people. Designed in the traditional style of the Dorze community, the furniture and bedding at Dorze Lodge is all made locally. Bed linen is provided at the property, which is staffed and run by the local community. Guests can enjoy local and international meals at the restaurant or around the camp-fire, prepared using locally sourced ingredients. Dorze Lodge features a garden and views overlooking Abaya Lake, Chamo Lake and Nechisar National Park. The spacious twin/double room features a private entrance, a dining area, as well as a private bathroom boasting a walk-in shower and slippers.
