Newly Constructed, (2018) Family Owned Loft House in a quiet, relaxing, 2 acre country setting overlooking the Mississippi River! 2500 sq. ft. Just 4 miles from Gatherings on the Ridge, 20 minutes from Historic Downtown Prairie Du Chien and a short jaunt to the river. Sleeps 8-10, master bedroom with a queen, 2 queens & queen sofa sleeper in loft, queen in basement , 2 baths, master bath has jetted tub, full kitchen (pots, pans, dishes, toaster, keurig, coffee pot, coffee, waffle iron, etc.) The space Linens, towels, and grill(please clean after using) provided. Fire pit (please bring wood)picnic table and cement patio out back with chairs. Located on a quiet country road, take a walk, enjoy the view, bird watching, or have an evening bonfire and star gazing! Spend a day on the river, WE HAVE KAYAKS FOR RENT, plan a hike at Pikes Peak, or Effigy Mounds, go golfing, or take a drive on The Great River Road! Also close to Villa Louis Historic Site, river boat rentals( S&S), lunch at Simply, pizza at the Porch!! Apple orchards are also abundant in the fall! Located 1 mile off Highway 35, public boat dock within 5 minutes, and many attractions to visit. Update: We do have WiFi Kayaks available for rent! Extra person charge over 10 people Other things to note DOG friendly (with some restrictions) must be picked up after inside and out, kept off furniture, off beds and out of loft area where there is carpet. If there are signs of your dog in the loft an extra fee will be charged depending on cleaning time. I’m sorry but a dog accident on carpet must be avoided NON-SHEDDING dogs only. Fully house trained, crated indoors when not home w/ pet. Please pay pet fee $100/ per pet. Fee can be left at the house (If not included) No excessive dog hair left behind, extra fee depending on cleaning time will be charged (Shedders, which are not allowed, is considered excessive) Double the charge if you try to sneak a pet. NO CATS!
