This quaint 1 bedroom, 1 bath fully contained guest house is the perfect couples retreat; great for the solo adventurer or business traveler. It is nestled in one of Prescott's quiet neighborhoods. We are just 5 minutes (driving) from the courthouse plaza and the infamous "Whiskey Row" and less than 2 miles from the Prescott Rodeo grounds and convenient shopping centers. Our Guest House is a detached extension of our home with it's own private driveway and entrance. A fully equipped kitchen for all your cooking needs. Complimentary water, coffee and tea is provided along with a few other regular condiments and spices for your convenience. Our pillow top queen size bed assures you a comfortable good nights sleep. We have Wi-Fi (password provided in guesthouse), Netflix and Hulu Plus along with a large selection of good old movies for your use. If you prefer to listen to music, you will enjoy the Bose Radio/CD for quality sound. We are confident your stay will be a pleasant and memorable time here. The guest house has a back door that takes you to into our backyard. You are encouraged to utilize the lounging areas while enjoying the tranquil sound of the water fountain. Check- In is at 2pm and Check-Out is at 10am, but we are very flexible with the times if we do not have guests before or after you. Please be sure to inquire so you won't have to rush out. Your privacy is important to us and we want your stay to be enjoyable and comfortable, but please feel free to call on us should there be anything missing from the house that you need. The backyard is full access, though you may see us outside watering from time to time if we don't get out there when you are out and about. Information is provided in the house about areas of interest, restaurant recommendations, hiking and more. While you may not see much of us during your stay, we are available and happy to accept your call or text should you have any questions or need any information. We are centrally located just North of the Prescott High School, making it easy to get to the grocery stores, Gateway Mall, Costco, Trader Joes, our beautiful lakes & historic downtown Prescott, where you have a variety of restaurants, unique stores, antique shops, museums, local artistry shops and of course the infamous whiskey row with a diverse choice of night life. We even have a remarkable Fine Arts Theater that will impress you. And lets not forget about the Prescott Valley Event Center, just 20-25 minutes away. If your stay is timely you can catch the Northern Arizona Suns Basketball team playing there or maybe stay for the annual Elevate Christian Concert that takes place for 3 days in June. There is always something happening at the PV Event Center. The highways are close to the house should you choose to visit Jerome, Sedona, Williams (Route 66), and/or Flagstaff... which are all between 45 minutes or less than two hours away from the house. The Grand Canyon is another destination that could be done in a day.. Spend your time visiting these beautiful places in a day and return to "your home away from home" for a peaceful, restful stay. The choices can be overwhelming for a week-end, so plan to stay for a week or more. Taxi and Uber services are abundant and Airport Shuttle services are minutes away from our home. Prescott is famous for "The Worlds Oldest Rodeo", which is just minutes from the guesthouse, from late June through the 4th of July. However, from the beginning of May you can enjoy nightly events and weekend festivities in our lovely downtown courthouse square that goes through labor day week-end. It doesn't really stop in September...Prescott is known as "Arizona's Christmas City" the holiday spirit comes to life downtown. You won't want to miss the light parade before Thanksgiving, the Christmas Parade, The Courthouse Lighting or the Acker Musical Festival. It's a beautiful place to celebrate the holidays and sometimes, we may even have a White Christmas. We even bring in the New Year with our special "Boot Drop" down on Whiskey Row. The streets are blocked off from traffic and a stage is set up for music along with fire pits to keep you warm if you're not out there dancing in the streets. No need to worry about missing the Boot Drop at midnight if you're an early bird, they'll drop it for you at 10pm and another drop at midnight for the late owls. We love Prescott and all that it has to offer year round and we know you will love it too.
