Beautiful modern style home with unique architectural style, 3 Bedrooms+Loft, 2 Baths (Sleeps 10), open floor plan, on 1.5 acres off of Ski Hill Road, between Driggs and Grand Targhee Resort (15 minute drive to Grand Targhee). House has been listed on other online rental websites for over 8 years, with 4.9 star rating out of 5 stars (154 ratings), as of January 2024. For details about viewing these ratings, please contact the owner. Great views of Grand Teton and surrounding mountain ranges through huge picture windows, plenty of privacy, and peace and quiet. It is a 5 minute drive into town, where there is an excellent, modern grocery store, a fine wine shop, several outdoors shops and outfitters, and many other stores, as well as several very good restaurants. It is 9.7 miles (about a 15 min. drive) up to the ski area, where there is fantastic downhill and nordic skiing. Air conditioning installed--rare for Teton Valley! Beds for 10 in this beautiful house. Amenities in the house include: Main floor: * Master BR with king size bed, huge walk-in closet, and large bathroom that includes oversized, soaker tub with whirlpool jets, shower, and double sinks. * 2nd BR with king size bed * 2nd full bath with shower / bathtub combo * Large great room / den with incredible views through the many large picture windows, gas fireplace, and TV with YouTube live TV (most major cable and satellite channels) and Netflix subscription paid, and Amazon FireStick for streaming content * Dining area with dining table with leaves and chairs that can accommodate up to 10 people comfortably * Huge, full kitchen with all appliances (including Kitchenaid mixer, full-size food processor, Vitamix blender, and large crock pot) * Full size washer and drier 2nd floor: * Loft area with TV / DVD with YouTube live TV and Amazon FireStick for streaming content , foosball table, and twin+ size fold-down futon * 3rd bedroom with 2 single beds and 1 queen size bed * Anteroom with full size bed that can sleep 2 additional people. Grand Targhee consistently gets more snowfall than any other ski area in Idaho, and has unbelievable powder skiing! Additionally, throughout the valley there are multiple opportunities for nordic skiing and snowshoeing in the winter. When the snow melts, the trails are great for hiking and mountain biking, and there are fantastic outdoors music concerts and festivals. There is also fabulous fly-fishing in the area with 3 world-renowned rivers (S. Fork Snake, Henry's Fork, and Teton) and ~ 20 productive smaller streams within a 60 minutes drive. We are a 45 min drive over the pass to Jackson Hole, and an hour drive up to Yellowstone National Park. Many people say that the summers in the Teton Valley are even better than the winters--come see for yourself! Please note that we maintain our house in a "western rustic" style that is conservation-minded. The high valley meadow surrounding the house is beautiful, and we do not trim it during the summer except within a one foot area next to the front sidewalk and around the back patio and horseshoe pit area. This is common for this area. We have not installed a lawn because that is not natural to the area, and unnecessarily requires extra water. We maintain a very comfortable house and furniture and bedding for our guests. Simply, this house and property are in a great location with spectacular views, excellent comfort, and many great amenities which we love. Please also note that, during winter, we pay a snow removal service to clear snow on our driveway and front walkway. We do not have snow removed from our back patio, fire pit area, horseshoe pits, etc. Please come check out our house, and one of our favorite places on Earth. All areas My caretaker is in Driggs and is available if problems arise or minor repairs are needed. Very quiet and private, 1.5 acre property, with 360 degree views of the surrounding mountains. Horses on other properties next to our property. You will need your own transportation, due to rural location. Check-in at 4 p.m., check out by 10 a.m. The property is rented fully furnished and includes: appliances (including Kitchenaid mixer, full-size food processor, Vitamix blender, and large crock pot) and complete kitchen, washer and dryer, linens and towels. There is generally a good supply of spices and most cooking basics like oil, flour, etc. Dishwashing detergent and bathroom soap will initially be provided, however these items are not restocked, and renter is thereafter responsible for these items. PARTIES AND HOSTED EVENTS: Parties and other events are not permitted to be hosted or located in this vacation rental home or on the rental home property, without express permission in writing from the owner of the vacation rental home. The exception to this is that 6 or fewer people, in addition to the guest group renting the home, may be invited over, but may not stay overnight. NO SMOKING is permitted inside the house. If this policy is violated, it will result in forfeiture of the entire security deposit, and the tenant will be responsible for the costs excess to the damage deposit required to correct any damage or odor associated with smoking, to be paid to the owner within 30 days of notice provided by the owner. PETS: Pets are not allowed in the home unless there is prior approval by owner--please contact owner regarding this. A $100 (non-refundable) pet fee PER PET for less than 7 day stays, or $150 PER PET for stays of 7 days or more, or $150 PER PET per month for stays of over 1 month will be charged in addition to the regular rates. Pets in the home without prior approval will result in a $500 fee, or complete forfeiture of the damage deposit if damage deposit provided. Additionally, when pets are allowed: 1. Guest is responsible for cleaning up any/all pet refuse. 2. Pets are not allowed on furniture at any time. Any evidence of pets on furniture may incur extra cleaning fees. 3. When necessary, all pets are to be appropriately pre-treated with a topical flea and tick repellent prior to arrival. Any necessity for hiring a specialist to eradicate the home of fleas or ticks after stay will be tenant’s responsibility. 4. Pet(s) must not cause damage to premises or furnishings. If damages are caused, the cost of the damage, in addition to the charges listed above, are to be paid to the owner. 5. Guests must prevent pets from producing excessive noise at a level that disturbs neighbors. 6. Pet(s) will not be left unattended, either indoors or out, unless crated. Pet(s) will not be left unattended on patio or porch. DAMAGE DEPOSIT: A damage deposit is required on AirBnB. The deposit is not applied towards rent, and will not be charged to renter provided all of the following provisions are met: a: no damage is done to the house or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear, b: No charges are incurred due to contraband, pets or collection rents or services rendered during the stay. c: All debris, rubbish and discards are properly disposed of and removed from the premises. d. All keys are left in the lock box and house is left locked. e. All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure. f. No linens are lost or damaged. The costs to correct any of these violated provisions above (within this paragraph) that are in excess of the damage deposit will be the responsibility of the tenant, to be paid to the owner within 30 days of notice provided by the owner. EARLY CHECK-IN / LATE CHECK-OUT: Standard check-in time is 4:00 pm. Standard check-out time is 10:00 am. The owner or caretaker may authorize early check-in or late check-out in select circumstances in which cleaning and preparation of the house can be accomplished to accommodate this; this will not be authorized or accommodated when a guest is checking out and another is checking in on the same day. When early check-in and/or late check-out is authorized by the owner or caretaker, there will be no charge for this. In circumstances when a guest checks-in early or checks-out late without authorization from the owner or caretaker, an additional fee of $100 per hour will be incurred by the renter, up to a maximum of $500 per day. CLEANING FEE: The home will be cleaned before your arrival. $160 is charged for cleaning the house after your departure. Excess cleaning charges resulting from the home being left in dirty or damaged condition will be deducted from the damage deposit, thus resulting in a lower amount of the damage deposit being refunded. Any damage or excessive cleaning from your stay that results in the cancellation of or decreased income from subsequent reservation(s) will result in your being obligated to pay the owner the amount equivalent to the loss in rental fees from said cancellation or decreased income, within 30 days of notice provided by owner. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum number of guests is limited to ten (10) persons unless prior approval is given by the owners for more occupants. There is an additional guest fee of $25/guest/night for each guest above eight (8) persons. LIABILITY: This home is privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. Please note that, during cold weather, ice may accumulate on sidewalks, driveways, and steps despite preventative measures—please enter and exit the house very carefully, and ideally via the front steps using the handrail or via the garage. Please also note that ice and snow may accumulate on gutters and the roof, and could unexpectedly separate and fall. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises.
