Originally built in 1875, The Portree Hotel is located on the corner of Portree's main street and overlooks Somerled Square, the town’s main square. The main bus stop and taxi ranks are on the doorstep, offering direct links to other parts of the island. The hotel offers 24 rooms with attached bathroom all with a 32-inch flat screen TVs, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryers and irons. Guests can drink and dine on site in the Antlers Bar & Grill and West Highland Bar. The bar area at the end of the restaurant is a cozy, inviting space with a wood burning stove, televisions and live music showing regularly over the weekends through the year. Our 24 bedrooms are all upstairs, set over three floors, many with views over Somerled Square. We do not have a elevator, but staff are happy to help take your bags to your room upon arrival.' This room features a double and a single bed, and overlooks the Square or Wentworth Street. All rooms are en-suite, have hair dryers, flat screen TVs and tea and coffee making facilities.
