DOMAINE DU GUE DU ROI Once upon a time there was an old Chapel... great for lovers. Intimate and cozy atmosphere at this romantic attic room with gray and black tones with views of horse meadows. Located at the entrance to the park with independent entrance. The space At the gates of Orléans and Chambord, the Domaine du Gué du Roi is a remnant of a small 18th century castle, unfortunately disappeared, that we bought in 2011 and patiently renovated to make it a house of happiness for our family and our guests. In the one hectare park surrounded by centuries-old walls, we transformed the barn and dovecote into two cottages and the chapel into two guest rooms, and installed a wooden trailer. In parallel, we have revived the adjoining farm, the Ferme du Petit Gué du Roi, by creating on a dozen hectares a breeding of horses and donkeys. Ideally located on the Châteaux de la Loire road 1h30 south-west of Paris with direct access to the A10 and A71 motorways, and at the crossroads of the main hiking trails, we are now happy to welcome all tourists looking for an unusual and bucolic break respectful of its environment, as well as riders of the European Route D'Artagnan, cyclists of the Loire à Vélo and walkers of St Jacques de Compostelle.  Once upon a time there was an old Chapel... great for lovers. For up to 2 people, 3 if child (baby included) On the ground floor of the chapel, living room reserved for hosts; French breakfast is served from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.: croissants, breads, butter, homemade jams (specialties: strawberries and cherries), fresh fruit salads, yogurt, cheeses, hot drinks and unlimited fruit juice. High chair for the little ones. Direct access to the park with garden furniture, deckchairs and children's games available. Guest access Protected by a ward of high walls, chapel with independent entrance and garden. Free parking in front of the Domaine.
