La Casa del Consul is a lovingly restored XVIII century Merchant house in Cadiz, preserving original architectural features such as antique floors and window shutters, and combining them with eclectic contemporary furniture and decor to create a welcoming balance between original splendour and contemporary comforts. The building offers a rooftop with potted plants, a plunge pool/Jacuzzi, an honour bar, and even a boat repurposed as outdoor seating, while the common areas are designed for guests’ comfort, whether for breakfast or an aperitif before heading out at night. Our apartments are fully insulated from heat, cold, and outside noise. Located in Plaza España, a large, beautiful, and very quiet planted square in the city center, the property is less than a kilometer from La Caleta Beach, within minutes of lively bars and restaurants, and a 12-minute walk from the train station. The centre is perfect to explore on foot, and buses to the new part of town or the beaches leave from Plaza España, while the nearest taxis are two minutes away.
