Guesthouse - The House of Black and White, Arusha

Our very well-kept and lovingly furnished accommodation is located only 1 km from the center of Arusha. Although so centrally located, the property is a quiet, green oasis full of plants. Depending on the season, you can freely help yourself to avocados, lemons or other fruits. The green and peaceful garden is populated by a variety of birds and small animals such as squirrels and hedgehogs. The space The guesthouse is located in the Mianzini district, a very central area. Public transport and stores are less than 1 km away. Supermarkets, ATMs and bars are between 1.5 km and 3 km from the guesthouse. In the immediate vicinity you will find nice restaurants and places to chill out such as The Hub, Fifi's or Themi Living Garden. Attractions such as Cultural Heritage and Tanzanite Experience are easily accessible by public transport (or private if you prefer). Kilimanjaro Airport is 50 km away and Arusha Airport is about 9 km away. We offer a shuttle service on request. The House of Black and White is surrounded by a wall and there is free, sheltered parking inside. The house is very tastefully furnished. The large dining room, a comfortable living room and a well-equipped, well-kept kitchen can be used by guests. The house has 2 double rooms, a room with bunk beds for 2 people and a room with bunk beds for 4 people, each with its own bathroom and hot water shower. Mosquito nets are fitted over all beds and the rooms are equipped with large walk-in closets. The dormitory for 2 people has a newly built outdoor bathroom. There is an additional toilet in the hallway. Almost all the furniture in the house is new and has a black and white design, just like the name of our guesthouse. We have chosen to use iron instead of wood for reasons of cleanliness and environmental awareness. Our additional services - an extensive breakfast is included in the price. You can also book lunch and/or dinner with us for a fee. We mainly cook Tanzanian dishes, but we also offer vegetarian cuisine on request. There is a professional barbecue in the garden, which you are welcome to use. We offer a laundry and ironing service for a small fee. We provide you with a WLAN connection around the clock on the entire premises. We are happy to help you get a SIM card so that you also have Internet access outside the house. We are happy to advise and organize outdoor activities such as safaris, day trips, hikes (Kilimanjaro), cultural tours & volunteer work. We have staff with extensive travel experience within the country and will help you find the right offers in Tanzania and Zanzibar for every budget and make your trip an experience. Guest access From Kilimanjaro airport, follow the Arusha-Himo road (approx. 50 km) until you reach the district of Mianzini. Turn right at the junction into Mianzini Road. Continue for approx. 250 m and then turn left onto Ilkiure Road near Domingo Carwash. Follow this road for 200 meters and then turn right, it is the third house on the left.
