Please be aware that pool temperatures are implied and not guaranteed as they are governed by many factors including prevailing weather conditions, nighttime temperatures, the position of the pool, time of day, etc. BBQ/ and additional cribs may be rented directly from the property manager (Jeeves) at an additional cost. BBQs must be used outside the pool/lanai area for fire and safety regulations. Several guests have rented BBQ's but end up not using them as they become too busy! Rental costs will not be refunded regardless if you use them or not. Quiet time for the resort and residents of Osceola County is sunset. - During the Christmas and New Year peak period the minimum booking charge is for 6 nights. A 7 nights Christmas booking can be any period to Dec 28th and a 7 nights New Year booking can be any period from Dec 27th. A single week booking during the Christmas/New Year period can not include both Christmas and New Year (unless for 12 nights). You will have access to the complete 3909sq. ft home together with the Oasis Club at no additional cost. There are no keys to worry about since the property is accessed by keypad and codes are given to you. My property manager will be available to you 7 days a week. I will also monitor my emails from you. I live in Illinois so you don't need to worry about me dropping in! There are many videos about Championsgate resort on the internet that will give you an idea of what the neighborhood looks like. Unfortunately, I can't give you a web address because Air BB blocks any reference to a website. I would suggest you use your favorite search engine (I can't type the name) and search on a site that sounds like "your innertube ;)" where they host lots of videos. Directions from Orlando Airport Your journey will take you along the 528 Beeline Expressway West, the Interstate 4 West (I-4), the 192 West, Highway 27 South and onto Champions Gate Resort. A drive of approx 30 miles that will take you around 30-40 minutes & takes you through 2 tolls. (At all tolls please use the Green Lane marked Change & Receipts) Ensure that you have a few dollars in cash to cover toll charges. Step 1 – Orlando International Airport to 528 Bee Line Exit Orlando International Airport following signs for “North Exit”. Stay in the middle lane and proceed past the Welcome to Orlando sign. Take the second right marked “528 West/Toll/International Drive” (Exit 1 B). The road curves around and merges with the 528 (Bee Line) West. Step 2 – 528 Bee Line West to 192 After joining the 528 Bee Line West, proceed for 0.2 miles to the first toll (75 cents). Continue for a further 3.9 miles to a second toll (75 cents). Continue for a further 6 miles to Interstate 4 West (I-4). Take I-4 West and proceed 6.9 miles to Exit 64B (old 25B) the 192 West. Continue in left lane on 192 past Disney exit and onto Splendid China, which you will pass on your left-hand side. Continue down the 192 and follow signs for Haines City, stay in the left-hand lane, as the road will bear round to the left to join Highway 27. Continue along Highway 27 for approx 4-5 miles, Go past Solana Resort and Entrance to Champions Gate is just past Solana You will know you have arrived when you see the impressive arched Gates of Champions Gate. on entering Champions Gate proceed along to the roundabout and take 2nd exit to follow the road until you see the sign>> THE RETREAT Directions from Sanford Airport Your journey will take you along the 417 Greenway South, the 192 west, Highway 27 South and on to Champions Gate– a drive of 63 miles that will take approximately 70 minutes. You will pass through a total of 6 tolls. (At tolls please use the “Green Lane” marked “Change & receipts”). Ensure that you have a few dollars in cash to cover toll charges. As you leave the airport you must follow signs for the 417 Greenway South & Orlando, International drive & Kissimmee. Proceed 3.0 miles to the second traffic lights immediately before the flyover. Go under the flyover and turn immediately left. Proceed to the next light and continue straight on up the slip road and join the 417 Greenway South towards Orlando. After 1.3 miles you will come to the first toll just before Lake Jesup ($1.50). From here, proceed another 12 miles to the second toll (50 cents). Caution- 2 miles after the second toll, the road forks at the 408 East-West Expressway. Stay in the right-hand lane and follow the signs for the 417 South. Stay on the 417 Greenway South for a further 5.5 miles to the third toll (50 cents) and a further 13 miles to the fourth toll ($1). Caution – 4 miles after the fourth toll, the road forks, bear left staying on the 417 Greenway South. Carry on along the 417 South for a further 4 miles to the fifth toll ($1) and on for a further 5 miles to Exit 2 – Celebration Ave. Take exit 2 and immediately go through the sixth toll (75 cents). Turn right after the tollbooth and carry on for approx half a mile to the traffic lights at the junction with the 192. Turn left onto the 192 through road marker No 8 and continue west along the 192 for 4 miles to Splendid China, which will be on your left-hand side. Continue down the 192 and follow signs for Haines City, stay in the left-hand lane as the road will bear round to the left to join Highway 27. Continue along Highway 27 for approx 4-5 miles and you Champions Gate You will know you have arrived when you see the impressive arched Gates of Champions Gate. Whilst we strive to maintain the accuracy of directions, we cannot accept liability for changes to directions caused by third parties.
