Kingston House feels remote, but is just 2 miles from the Kingston ferry (to Seattle & Edmonds) and 11 miles from the Bainbridge ferry (to Seattle). Fans of Pacific Northwest mid-century design love the residence, which was designed by an architect with roots in Norway and Japan from Douglas-fir timbers milled on-site. Nearby communities of Bainbridge Island (ferry to Seattle), Norwegian-themed Poulsbo and historic Port Gamble are great day or half-day trips. Farther afield are Victorian Port Townsend and the rainforests of Olympic National Park. Our "backyard" includes thousands of acres of protected parks with hiking and biking trails.
