Located in South Hero, Vermont (30 minutes from Burlington, and a mile from the ferry to Plattsburgh, NY) our family-friendly lake house features five bedrooms, three floors of living space, a lovely modern kitchen, three bathrooms, a large, private lawn, and is situated on 300 feet of lake front. The space The view looking west over Lake Champlain is magnificent. You'll have a clear, sweeping view of the lake. Ideal for watching the gorgeous sunsets from a new deck installed in the autumn of 2016. The property has 300 feet of private shoreline. A gradual slope down the lawn and a set of easily accessible steps leads to the lake. In the summer, our dock is perfect for fishing and sunbathing. Guest access Your use of the property includes the house, the shed and contents thereof, the grounds, lake access and dock, etc; basically everything except the barn/garage. You may not use or access the barn/garage. There is a closet in the master bedroom which contains some personal and sentimental property, which should be locked during your stay. You may not use or access the Owners’ closet. Access to the basement is normally locked for safety reasons, but you may access the basement if necessary (e.g. if a breaker trips, for example).
