This charming 1 bedroom cabin is truly a hidden gem, nestled in the tall oaks in the town of Glenwood Springs. It is a fully modernized log cabin, equipped with all the modern conveniences necessary to make your vacation comfortable and relaxing. The cabin is just steps away from everything Glenwood has to offer... The Red Mountain/Jeanne Golay hiking trail is literally across the street, providing panoramic views of the Roaring Fork Valley below. A short walk through the trees places you at Veltus Park, which lies along the Roaring Fork River for rafting, fishing or a cool dip in the water. And you'll find tennis and basketball courts there also. PLUS just a short drive and you are in the heart of the Roaring Fork Valley with all of it's skiing, rafting, hiking, rock climbing, and fine dining, including the glamour of Aspen or Vail. Or you may choose to stay at the cabin to just sit back and relax on the porch or under the shade of the trees, enjoying the beautifully landscaped yard and the sound of the birds overhead. The cabin is able to accommodate 4, as there is a loft with queen mattress OR use the pull out sofa in the living room. However, when the living room couch is pulled out, there is little room for anyone to move about. and though the loft has a queen mattress on the floor, the ceiling is very low and there is no room for anyone to stand upright.
