The space The Walawwa (Villa) is set by the old Galle Road, just 500m from the main Galle Road (Less than 7km from the Kokmaduwa Highway Interchange) in Weligama. The house with 5 bedrooms (including two family rooms) come with gorgeous living spaces that include a delightful porch, large pond in the dining area and a living room. The 5 rooms are as follows: Foozoo was born out of a shared vision of hospitality, inclusivity, and well-being. Founded in 2016 by Dinesh and Damith, the brand took root in Colombo, Sri Lanka, and by 2017 had formalized its presence with several properties. However, like many ventures, Foozoo encountered challenges, leading to a downsizing. Despite these hurdles, Foozoo has evolved, growing from its current home, Foozoo Mantra Weligama, a retreat that embodies the essence of what Foozoo stands for. The team today includes Bjorn, a close friend and German national, who completes the dynamic trio. Often referred to as the dreamer, Dinesh is the visionary, constantly pushing the boundaries of what Foozoo can offer. Damith, a former airline professional, is the operational heart of Foozoo. Known affectionately as the magician, he brings the team’s ideas to life with a focus on sustainability and eco-consciousness. Together with Bjorn, who contributes his own unique skills and perspectives, the team embodies Foozoo’s core values—creativity, inclusivity, and sustainability.
