Creekside Cottage - 30 acres w/ Pool/Kayaks/Trails

We welcome you to come and experience Goldberry Woods! We feature an 8-br inn, 3 cottages, and over 30 acres of gardens, woods, farm, orchard, trails, and river. New enclosed heated pool for winter! Our Creekside Cottage, which includes over 1,300 sq feet of space and offers 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths, is nestled among farm and woods on our 30-acre property along the Galien River and backs up to a wooded ravine with a meandering creek. Breakfasts in the Inn may also be added, if available. Our Creekside Cottage sleeps 6 comfortably in bedrooms and another 2 in the living room on the leather sectional sofa (bedding provided). There is a large screen porch overlooking the woods/ravine/creek with tables and chairs. The kitchen is outfitted with white cabinets and full-sized appliances and is well stocked with dishes, glassware, utensils, and cookware. The dining area seats 8 comfortably, with six guests at the table four more spots at the breakfast bar. The living room features a leather sectional sofa, wood-burning fireplace, and 55" streaming TV with Satellite and DVD. There is also a gas Weber gas grill, fire pit with free firewood, and outdoor seating as well. There is a $150 cleaning fee and $20/day fee per pet. If available, breakfasts at the Inn can be added for cottage guests ($25/person). Guests may also enjoy the hiking trails through the woods, borrow our canoes or kayaks on our river with our onsite launch, play on our large play set (featuring swings, a slide, and climbing walls), borrow bikes to ride through the area, or play some of our yard games including badminton, bags, bocce, or horseshoes. Come relax in our heated pool (open all year) and hot tub right next to our farm field. The Barn is attached to the pool area and features ping pong, a pool table, an arcade game system, with bathrooms. We have an organic farm, green house, fruit and nut orchard, hiking trails, and lots of woods to explore. The cottage is located just one mile from Lake Michigan. Our 30 secluded acres offer a bit of quiet amongst the bustle of Harbor Country's busy summers. An entire day can be spent just on our property, kayaking or canoeing in the Galien River or hiking our trails. On our organic farm, we grow a little bit of everything that Michigan has to offer. Keep us in mind for your larger group rental for corporate/non-profit/wellness retreats, family reunions, small weddings, or elopements.
