The space We are still the ultimate couple's getaway, but we're making it easier to bring the kids for a low-keyed, but fun-filled family vacation. When you're not enjoying our outdoor amenities, relax in your very own home theater with 66" HD Smart TV. Full kitchen has an electric range, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, assorted small appliances, and supplied for preparing full-course meals. The bedroom features a comfy queen bed with new memory -foam mattress! Add two twin air mattresses and/or full crib for family vacations! Please note that dining table only seats two, but there are two or more TV tables. The front yard, easily accessible from the apartment, has a play set, bocce and horseshoes, charcoal, grill, and dining set. Backyard has three-level deck, swimming pool with deck, lounge chairs. and umbrella dining set; screen porch; gas grill; picnic table; outdoor living room. Please inquire when using backyard amenities. We also have our own private hiking trail, which leads down to the nearby river, about a half mile down the trail. The trail is marked and we even have hiking sticks. Adjacent rock has fire pit with seating leading to another hammock this one in the woods. We have our own private, hidden balcony/deck and a top-floor deck so you might never see us! The swimming pool and backyard barbecue area are for the exclusive use of our guests. If you decide to invite people over for a swim or a picnic, we charge $15 per person which is payable directly to us. For more possibilities, please ask! Guest access Private entrance is off a ground floor mudroom accessed directly from outside. All outdoor spaces are accessible to our guests with prior notification required for backyard features and hot tub. There is plenty of off-street parking near apartment entrance. If you're the outdoor type do take advantage of our Bocce court or horseshoe pit (both junior-sized for our granddaughters and their grandparents,) outdoor grilling and dining, the amazing pool, in season, If you're so inclined try the hammock or roast s'mores around the fire pit. The grounds are completely wooded and isolated from the neighbors (or were before some major limb removals this winter) except to a lesser degree in winter. Other things to note Fee for an approved dog is $15 per dog per night payable in advance or by cash upon check-in. We reserve the right to reject a dog for any reason whatsoever, and you must submit documentation of rabies and distemper vaccinations prior to check-in. We have 2 rescues, one a well-behaved 3 YO and one rambunctious 2 YO, who love to play, but will understand if your pooch doesn't. Please don't bring an aggressive dog. Our driveway is really, really long and narrow so if you're coming in the winter in a conventional 2-wheel-drive car, please check to be sure the driveway has been plowed and is not icy before venturing down it. We have a crib, high chair, baby monitor stroller and baby backpack available. Use of air mattress(es) greatly restricts the floor space; couch and love seat offer alternatives.
