If it snows more than several inches, look for snow removal signs to make sure you don't violate any temporary parking rules. There is a security camera on the front porch and in the back. There is also one in the laundry room, which is blocked off from guests to safeguard the owner's belongings. For stays longer than 20 days, a mid-stay cleaning is required and an additional fee of $150 will apply. This helps us maintain a high standard of cleanliness and ensures the home stays comfortable for the duration of your stay. Staying in the mountains offers a unique and nature-immersed experience, characterized by a rustic charm. You might occasionally encounter some of the local wildlife, insects, and small critters that are part of the natural surroundings. We recommend keeping doors securely closed whenever possible. Rest assured, we've implemented thorough measures to ensure your stay remains undisturbed by these natural inhabitants. Altitude sickness is real. In Leadville/ Twin Lakes, the elevation can be up to 10,000 feet. Symptoms can include dizziness and nausea, so please be mindful of this. We cannot offer refunds for guests experiencing altitude sickness. If you anticipate being affected, we recommend obtaining insurance at the time of booking.
