There is a Fridge, Microwave (no hob) and chopping board to prepare salads, cheese or cold meats. There is also a kettle and toaster for your convenience. There is no stove or ringed cooker. We provide hand soap, shampoo, conditioner and bodywash in the en-suite. There is also a covered patio with seating and a table to provide outdoor space. You are in a very safe, secluded and private space but with a large garden area. Tea, coffee and some milk will be provided during your stay as well as shampoo and body wash. UNIQUE to your stay in Portree is FREE to use leisure cards at the The Fingal leisure centre which is only 400 metres back down Dunvegan Road. There is a swimming pool, sauna and steam room to relax after a days hiking/touring. There is also fitness classes to enjoy as well as climbing wall, fitness room, badminton and short tennis (restrictions may apply). The leisure cards are in the welcome brochure and please return after use. The Digital Smart TV works with all the BBC, ITV, Channel 4+5 and You Tube Apps so catch up and live TV is available. With patience there is an excellent choice of viewing. The internet is a blazing 50 plus mb so no problems with streaming and work related needs. The Isle of Skye Bakery is on our doorstep for lovely fresh Bread and local produce. Great for Breakfast or Lunch. Gluten free options. Guest access Please look at photos to get a general feel for the surrounding area. It is a unique space and the area is getting developed. You will have the self catering unit and please just open gate come down the steps and access the property. We are working to improve lighting and accessability. You can park anywhere in the bakery carpark or just next to the designated private spots just at the back of our house which are for ourselfs or guests. It is maybe best to use IV51 9HG for Sat Nav Directions as this takes you to the Isle of Skye Bakery and up the correct road to our property. Dry/safe Storage for a bike or whatever can be provided and just get in touch. The chalet is new, warm, clean and comfortable. Other things to note We are a minimum of 2 night booking. However there are single nights during winter or summer months. You just have to be diligent in your search or just get in touch and we can arrange. PLEASE DO NOT PUT ANYTHING IN OUR TOILET OTHER THAN TOILET ROLL. ANY MATERIAL WIPES, CLOTH, etc WILL BREAK OUR SEWAGE SYSTEM AS WE HAVE A MACERATOR. PLEASE TELL US IF YOU MAKE A MISTAKE.
