Our place is on the shore of Moosehead Lake across from Mt. Kineo. You’ll love this place because of the coziness and rustic feel. This camp is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids). Guests can use the grill, enjoy an outdoor fireplace and tie up a boat at the dock. The neighborhood is very private with plenty of space to social distance, relax and rejuvenate. We offer self check in and encourage social distancing. Safety is very important to us! In the heart of Rockwood near the public boat landing, this rustic camp is across from Mt. Kineo. Lake access from adjacent camp, boat dock just a short walk away, outside fire pit (bring your own wood), canoe and kayaks available from adjacent camp. When we can, we will welcome our guests and answer any questions. This is not always the case and is based on our busy work schedule. We are always available via phone to answer and questions and trouble shoot any problems. This spot is in a very quiet and private part of the lake in Rockwood Village. If you are looking for neighborly action, this probably is not the right spot for you. If you are looking for a serene spot, with lots of room to social distance, relax and rejuvenate, this spot is perfect! Kineo shuttle is a brief walk away and can take you over to the golf course or for a hike of Mt. Kineo. Linens are included, kitchen is fully equipped, canoe and kayaks available with life jackets and paddles. The camp has two queen beds and 2 twin beds. Things you might want to bring: paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, fire wood, beach towels, water (gallon jugs), all food & drink, sunscreen, bug spray, camera, shampoo and toiletries, hair dryer, and laundry detergent.
