Serendipity on Lake Michigan The space Serendipity is the name of this Straits of Mackinac home. A love for the region is represented by themed rooms- bedrooms including Grand Hotel, B&B & The Chippewa Room. Other rooms include Michigan Lighthouse, Freighter, Butterfly, Sand Dune, & The Chicago to Mackinac Race. The Freighter room is a lovely enclosed bridgeview porch/ dining/ game room. Relax in front of the firepit, or play some yard games and listen to the waves crash over the rocks, or walk across the quiet county road to Lake Michigan, relax on the benches and take in views of the Mackinac Bridge, St. Helena Island, freighters and sail boats and catch an evening sunset. Behind the house, explore trails for hiking,skiing & snowshoeing. 5 mins to downtown St. Ignace. Walk to Sand Bay, wilderness & popular birding area. Each room has a ceiling fan to cool you on the hot summer days. The master bedroom has a T.V. for private enjoyment.
