Stay at Tullah's iconic Tin Dragon, the home of award winning Tasmanian Poet Thomas Bailey. Known for its bottlewalls and mosaics the house sits off the road between the Tullah Tavern and the Cafe and a minutes walk from the Mt Farrell trailhead and the Wee Georgie Wood steam train. Tullah is the perfect hub to explore the West Coast. Under 1 hours drive to Cradle Mt, Queenstown, Strahan & Corinna. and a 15 minute drive from the spectacular Mt Murchison trail and Montezuma Falls. The space The Tin Dragon is set up off the road, with access via steps leading up from the off street parking area. It is a three bedroom house all with queen beds and two with lake views. A well equipped kitchen with full sized fridge, oven, etc. Separate dining area and large living room with a great range of books, games and DVD.s. The generous bathroom is a homage to the famous Hundertwasser toilets in Kawakawa (with a nod to Mondrian) and includes a shower and separate spa bath. The house is a treasure trove of artwork with some notable Tasmanian artists represented. There is a small deck outside the kitchen with a lovely sunset view of Mt Farrell.
