Other things to note If you bring your boat, there is a boat lift available for your use. The lift supports boats up to 10,000 lbs and it designed for V-Hull boats. We only ask that you are careful with the remote for the lift as it costs $150 to replace and we would have to use part of your deposit to get a new remote. The remote breaks easily if dropped or exposed to moisture. We always leave the remote in a Ziploc bag and bring the remote inside after every boat trip to curtail damage to the remote. If you bring your boat by trailer, Marco Island mandates that the trailer not be visible from the road or canal. It can either be kept in the garage or you will have to rent a space at a storage facility. I have also allowed past guests to store their trailer in my rv garage, so that is also a free option.
