Welcome to Old Town Family Lodge — a one-of-a-kind mountain retreat named after the vintage 1936 Old Town Canoe proudly displayed in the Great Room. Spanning over 5,300 square feet and set on 16.5 acres, this getaway is just 10 minutes from the sparkling waters of Strawberry Reservoir — perfect for boating, kayaking and fishing. Back at The Lodge, the fun continues: challenge your crew to pickleball, basketball or ping pong, race down the Double Ziplines or unwind around the cozy fire pit. The space Please Note: We have a strict no-shoes policy inside the Lodge—help us keep the rugged beauty of the high desert outside, and the fresh, pristine interiors just the way you found them. Gather together for meals with seating for 26 indoors—14 in the retro-style Diner, 8 at the Kitchen table, and 4 at the Counter—plus room for 12 more at the outdoor tables on the upper deck, perfect for alfresco dining with a view. Located just 90 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport, the Lodge offers year-round access with roads maintained in winter. World-class fishing, boating, and water fun await just minutes away at Strawberry Reservoir to the West or Starvation Reservoir to the East. Renovated in 2020 with fresh interior paint, exterior stain, and all-new furniture, bedding, and pillows, the Lodge features tasteful decor and a brand-new soft water system for added comfort. Full exterior lodge stain and new Pickleball court resurfacing in 2025. The fully stocked kitchen includes a Blendtec blender, Instant Pot, Coffee Maker, 4-slice toaster, plus pots, pans, baking sheets, spices, and a reverse osmosis water system—everything you need to cook and dine with ease. Brand new dishwasher, refrigerator and double oven in 2025. Bring your ATVs and head out directly from the driveway to explore miles of scenic trails that wind through valleys, cross Currant Creek (just 1/4 mile away), and climb into the mountains. Other things to note For parents with young children: We have toys and games for the kids to enjoy in the "Kids Cave" in the loft as well as two Pack-n-play sleepers and a high chair that attaches to the kitchen table to make your life easier. Inside the cupboard of the island, you will find children's size utensils, plates, bowls and cups.
