In addition to the lovely condo itself, I donate a portion of each reservation to non-profits that help people affected by disasters, conflict, or critical illness. Due to the current environment and risk of COVID-19, I am doing enhanced cleaning and protocols to ensure that if you choose me as a host, you are getting a safe place to stay. If you are looking for a longer stay (i.e. ~2 weeks or longer, please message me for long term pricing). More Condo Details: This unit is on the 4th floor, which is accessible by the elevator (or stairs). There are hotel baggage carts in the entryway to help you easily transfer your luggage from your car to the unit. It is the first unit around the bend next to the elevator so very easy to get to. The apartment has everything you might need: kitchen, kitchen equipment, coffee maker (drip coffee), washer/dryer (in unit), TVs (including 70 channels including premium movie channels!), wood burning fireplace (wood included)!!! Downstairs are 2 hot tubs, a pool and a sauna, there is also an additional hot tub a block away. Also, available are shared showers in the clubhouse in case you want to ski/hike your last day after checking out and want a soak and shower before heading home. The unit is great for families. I have some games in the drawer, a noodle for the pool and a small sled if you have a little one! There is a big playground right behind the unit, next to the park and washer/dryer to clean their dirty clothes! I also have some games (taboo, connect-4, Jenga, etc). Check in at the front desk and they will have all the important information for you (and a quick free coffee before you get on the ski bus!) They are there for any needs you might have. If you’re driving up late or prefer, we can arrange contactless check in very easily. If you need any recommendations for restaurants, things to do or ski and snowboard rentals, just let me know and I’m happy to help organize that for you. **The building private shuttles are free and run during the ski season only. The Vail shuttle is only available Thursday through Monday (not available Tuesday & Wednesday). Our shuttles are in addition to the local Avon/Vail public transport nearby that is very good and runs very frequently. There is a local bus stop right on Lake Street a block away. In the winter, there are baseboard heaters in each room to adjust for desired temperature in addition to making a warm fire in the fireplace. In summer, there is NO Air Conditioning, but there are many fans to keep the rooms cool and normally it isn’t too hot especially in the night time in the mountains. The patio door can also be left open (close the screen though!) for some extra airflow if you’d like. This listing is approved by the town of Avon via Avon Business License No 008152. Guest access You are welcome to use the pool/hot tubs and sauna all year round. Also the tennis courts are available in the spring/summer, weather permitting. The front desk is also available for questions and will provide the code for entry when you arrive. There is also free coffee and tea if you'd like. Other things to note WiFi internet, Roku, TVs with cable (including premium movie channels! And ability to log into apps like Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime) in all rooms are available for you to enjoy. There is a DVD player with some movies. There are also some board games and puzzles in the drawer of the cabinet near the fireplace. If traveling with a family, a crib can be rented for small additional fee. NO Smoking allowed in the unit, balcony or at any property amenities under any circumstances. Violations will result in fines. Check-out procedure - very easy! If you could please run the dishwasher with remaining dirty dishes, that’s all that’s needed! Your cleaning fee includes someone to come to throw away the trash, wash linens and clean the apartment. If you want to leave any tip for the cleaning staff I’m sure they’d be very thankful but not required.
