The 17th-century Fox Inn is set on the banks of the River Windrush, in the lovely Cotswolds countryside. It offers individually styled rooms with free Wi-Fi, a charming pub and riverside dining. The Fox’s 4 luxury river mews rooms boast Cotswold stone walls and wooden beams, with traditional pub rooms also available. All rooms feature a TV, private bathroom and fishing rights for a private area of the river, with expert lessons also available. Food is served in the pub bar, the beautiful riverside conservatory, and on the outdoor terrace looking across the gardens. The Landlord’s father, a recently retired local butcher of 50 years, has joined the team, preparing only the best and tastiest meats. Just 3 miles from Burford, the Inn is in perfect country for walking and cycling. Historic Oxford and Stratford-Upon-Avon can both be reached in about 40 minutes’ drive.
