Waterfront North Fork/Southold Beach House
Waterfront (w/ dock) beach house located on Goose Creek, Southold (North Fork, LI). This custom-built (2014) 2,000 sq.ft. home exudes that coastal New England summer vibe. Waterfront for endless swimming, paddling and watersports right outside your door. Or, chill from comfy lounge chairs in the sand. Bring your own boat or rental for excursions to Shelter Island, Sag Harbor and more. Visit the many excellent nearby wineries (15 options within 5 miles) or breweries. Enjoy our epic sunsets! Your accommodations include: 4 bedrooms, 3-1/2 baths. BR1 - Lower Master (Queen bed); BR2 - Kids’ Quarters (2 bunk beds); BR3 - Upper Master w/ en-suite bath; BR4 - Bed/Office w/ en-suite bath. Lower level has a shared full bath and a shared half-bath. The open plan kitchen/dining/living area boasts gorgeous, length-of-house water views that bring the outside in. And with a true chef’s kitchen at the ready, it will be a breeze turning all that North Fork deliciousness you’ve scooped up into an impressive meal. Features include a commercial-grade 6-burner stove/oven, oversized island with generous counter space and seating, wine refri and beverage center, quality cookware and cutlery, and much more. As our guest, you will have access to the entire house and grounds, including the sand barrier lounge area and floating dock. There is a small garage which mostly contains owners' garden items and tools, but you will be able to access this as well for garbage bins and bike storage, if needed. Owner is available for contact via mobile/text at all times with quick response. The neighborhood where our house is located is very tranquil, with very little vehicle traffic and a mix of cottages and newly-renovated homes. The 5mph speed limit on the creek tilts the activity in favor of quiet paddling and peddling over motor-sports (which can be enjoyed in the bay). For the landlubbers, vineyards, farm stands and quaint village shopping provide endless opportunities for discovery and enjoyment. While bicycling is highly recommended and enjoyable in the general vicinity of our home, including to some of the nearby beaches, you will most likely want a car (and/or boat) in order to see and do all that the North Fork has to offer. In addition to a local guidebook prepared by us that you will receive on arrival, there are multiple local destination magazines available in print and online to help you plan and enjoy your stay, including the annual North Fork Vacation Guide and weekly Dan's Papers.
