This is an Amazing "REAL" Log Cabin with some of the most incredible views in the North Georgia Mountains with a fantastic deck, overlooking the Blueridge Mountains as far as the eye can see into the Great Smokey Mountains of Tennessee. We actually have 3 Cabins on Yonah Mountain available, Soaring Hawk, Bald Eagle Lodge and Cloud 9, all three are next door to each other and all share the same spectacular views but are still very private, they are available for large groups such as Weddings, large family reunions, Church groups etc. All 3 cabins sleep a total of 30 people. This Cabin is in the Heart of Georgia Wine Country and Pet friendly, sleeps 8 (6 comfortably). This Amazing “Log Cabin” is located about 3 miles from Helen GA. The views across the BlueRidge into the Great Smokey Mountains from this cabin, are the best in the North Georgia Mountains. No expense was spared to create this spectacular log cabin experience, perched near the top of Yonah Mountain with spectacular long - range views across the Blue Ridge Mountains. Yonah Mountain has some of the best hiking trails in the North Georgia area. “Soaring Hawk” has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 8 people (6 comfortably) and features a spectacular King size bed in the loft master suite with breathtaking views, as far as the eye can see, there are also a RollAway beds with an upgraded mattresses available and also a FUTON bed in a separate area of the loft. This is a very special Log Cabin with beautiful western décor and antiques and a one-of-a-kind atmosphere. The Bedrooms contain custom Log furniture including a “4 Poster” Log Bed in one of the guest rooms. All bed linens are “Spa Grade”. There are ROKU smart TVs in every room featuring Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, Netflix, UTUBE etc etc. There is also wireless internet available 350 mbps, to stream all your family's favorite content. The living room features unique custom log furniture with floor to ceiling windows to maximize the spectacular view on either side of the amazing fireplace with a gas log fire. There is also a leather Sleeper Sofa with an upgraded memory foam mattress in the living room. The Kitchen with Breakfast Bar has a granite counter tops with everything you will need to produce that very special meal for family and friends. There is also a gas grill outside on the deck, close to the Hot Tub. NOTE: The Gas Fireplaces are available for use from September 1st to May 30th. The outdoor Fire-Pit and Chimenea on the deck beside the sunken hot tub, can be used all year round, we do not provide firewood, there is plenty to be found in the woods around the cabin. When you rent Soaring Hawk you get the entire property Our Housekeeper will have everything ready for you when you arrive. You will provided with all the check in/out information prior to arrival. Soaring Hawk is located about 3 miles from the quaint German town of Helen Georgia close to the top of Yonah Mountain in the heart of the Georgia Wine Country. Helen has great bars and restaurants etc. The area has some of the best Hiking in the North Georgia Mountains, it's only a 10-minuet hike to the trailhead from right outside the cabin. If you like wine, there are some wonderful Wineries that offer Tours on a daily basis, in the area. You will need a car when visiting Soaring Hawk, the cabin has parking for about 5 cars Soaring Hawk has a fantastic entertainment deck with a ready to go sunken Hot Tub and outdoor fire-pit on the deck (chimenea) that will be ready for you when you arrive. The views from the deck are some of the best views in the North Georgia Mountains. Please Note: Rates are subject to change until a reservation is confirmed by the host. Rates are based on 4 people, additional guests are $25.00 per person per night, to cover the additional linens, utilities, wear and tear etc. It's priced this way, to make the cabin affordable if only 4 guests wish to stay. This cabin sleep's 8 people (6 comfortably). Please also ask to confirm the price that you were given by the automated system, as Holiday rates apply over Christmas, NewYear, Memorial Day Weekend, Labor Day, Weekend and July 4th Weekends and during OctoberFest in Helen, for the month of October. There is a 4-night minimum stay required over Thanksgiving and Christmas, there is a 3-night minimum stay required for NewYear, Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day Weekends. Pet Policy: Dogs are fine as long as their flea and tick prevention is up to date, there is a $75.00 “non-refundable” pet fee required. The deck is fenced and gated so dogs can run around outside, there is a 2-dog maximum (no cats under any circumstances). Please ask to review our pet policy if you are bringing a dog.
