Cozy House Cabin #2 - with Horses, Sheep & Volcano

Welcome to Smáratún Farm - located in South Iceland! You’ll be staying in our Cosy House Wooden Cabin, with Reception (and check-in!) located at Hotel Fljótshlíð. Inside our Tiny Cabins you will find 1x Double Bed (+ 1x Single Bed OR Sofa) + 1x Bathroom with a Shower + Table & 2x Chairs + Tea & Coffee Shelf! Located near your Cabin you will also find our Guesthouse - in case you’d like to have Kitchen Access. The space In the Cosy House Cabin you will find 1x Double Bed (+ 1x Single Bed OR Sofa) + 1x Bathroom with a Shower + Table & 2x Chairs + Tea & Coffee Shelf! Located near your Cabin you will also find our Guesthouse - in case you’d like to have Kitchen Access (it is fully equipped with everything you need: Cook & Dishware, 2x Fridges, Stove, Oven, Microwave, Toaster, Kettle & Coffee Station). And you can also relax on the grass field surrounding your Cosy Cabin! Surrounding your Little House, we have a gorgeous setting of the Fljótshlíð Valley with a view of Eyjafjallajökull Volcano (yes - a Volcano just outside your Cabin)! And you could get lucky to befriend one of our sheep or Icelandic Horses. Guest access Please check-in with us at Hotel Fljótshlíð Reception! We are open until 22-23:00 daily, and for late check-ins you can contact us over the phone for information on how to reach your Cabin. At Hotel Fljótshlíð you will find the Barn Restaurant, where you can enjoy wonderful Farm-to-Table Dishes! Visit our Reception to book your Table - we offer Homemade Breakfast (open buffet style) in the morning and Dinner Service in the evening. Our Guesthouse is always open for you to use as additional space too! Feel free to use the Guesthouse Kitchen whenever you need, and you’re welcome to use the Dining Area or the Sitting Lounge as well. Other things to note During the Summer Season, we offer Horse Riding Tours accompanied by our experienced Guide + Horse Whispering Sessions (during which you will learn about the Icelandic Horse and have the opportunity to pet and photograph our herd from up-close). We also invite you to book Treeplanting with us - we do this as a good deed for our Planet to offset Carbon Emissions (especially as an Eco-Labelled & Sustainability-conscious Farm) and to help expand the small tree population on our beautiful island.
