The Cottage overlooks a stunning view of the Tuscon Valley, and is a perfect location for nature lovers, artists, and all others looking to get away. The managing board of directors intends for this place to be a spiritual respite for seekers and travelers from around the world who wish to reconnect with their god, soul, and mother earth. Originally built in 1960 and updated with modern amenities, the Cottage includes a sandstone patio perfect for a small gathering or to spend the heat of the day in leisure, meditation, prayer or enjoying a selection from our extensive library of books on religion, self-help, and spirituality. All proceeds from the Cottage support the conservation of Sanctuary Cove. Guest access Guests are free to access all areas of the grounds at any hour during their stay. The property is open to the public from sunrise to sunset 365 days a year, but at night you will have the property to yourself. There is a non-denominational chapel, amphitheater, hiking trails, and traditional labyrinth. Cottage rental does NOT allow for parties or events at the cottage or the Cove property. STR includes maximum of 3 adults on-site and overnight. If you wish to book the cottage or Cove spaces for an event, you MUST book through the website and onsite caretakers. Airbnb renters that violate this rule are subject to forfeiture of deposit. Should you have any questions or concerns there is a full-time caretaker who will be happy to assist you during your stay. Otherwise, the caretaker's house and the area in its immediate vicinity is an off-limits private residence. Other things to note Sanctuary Cove is a place of mindfulness, peace, meditation, and relaxation. We ask that all guests respect the quietness inherent to the property and keep noise to a minimum during their stay. Please be mindful that the desert is home to many animals that prefer not to be disturbed, although it is likely that you may hear or see them.
