The historic borgo of La Torre alle Tolfe offers a slice of tranquil Tuscan countryside life, just 3 km from the city of Siena. Guests have access to our pool (mid-May through early October), tennis and bocce courts, ping pong table, and common areas including a reading room. We are a working farm and winery, and invite our guests to learn more about wine and olive oil production through regularly scheduled tours & tastings. Daily animal feeding and farm tours are also available on request. The space Finely furnished apartment located on the first floor of one of the oldest structures inside the historic village of Torre alle Tolfe, a few meters from the seasonal swimming pool, and very close to our zero km restaurant, immersed in the estate among centuries-old trees and vineyards. Consisting of a double bedroom and a bedroom with two single beds, two bathrooms, a spacious living room and a fully equipped kitchen; it also offers a wonderful view of the village, Our onsite restaurant (Ristorante La Torre alle Tolfe) is available every day at breakfast, lunch and dinner, upon reservation and availability, featuring authentic Tuscan cuisine and local ingredients. Kindly note that breakfast is not included in the accommodation plan, but can be reserved in advance, at extra cost. In-room massages, bike rental, Vespa rental, yoga classes, and other services are available upon advanced request. During the summer season, each room is equipped with an electric fan. Complimentary wifi is accessible in the apartment and in common spaces. The Tolfe area is a very famous countryside on the outskirts of Siena, important for bicycle enthusiasts because the famous Strade Bianche race passes through here. This historical center of Siena is easily reachable from La Torre alle Tolfe by bike or car. There are many walking routes to and from La Torre alle Tolfe that reach important destinations such as Certosa di Potignano. Interesting places nearby include the fortified village of Monteriggioni and towns such as San Gimignano, Greve in Chianti, Panzano, Montepulciano and Volterra.
