Loch Aweside Forest cabins are located in an area of outstanding natural beauty, near Dalavich, on the banks of spectacular Loch Awe. Our selection of charming self-catering cabins are positioned on large, secluded plots, in a stunning location and provide guests with the experience of a true log cabin holiday. We have a varied selection of log cabins, sleeping up to 6 people. Cabins have many character features including, vaulted ceilings, raised verandas, hot tubs (extra charge of £99 / stay if required) at selected cabins and wood burning stoves in most cabins. In addition to the peace and quiet of the log cabin locations the surrounding area provides an amazing natural playground. There are forests, burns, rivers, castles, mountains and lochs to explore and enjoy. The area has a proliferation of walks, bike routes and local attractions and is a world renowned destination for anglers. wildlife-watching available at Dalavich is as good as it gets in the UK. Pine Marten and Red Squirrel are common and Osprey nest nearby. You can also see Golden Eagle and Sea Eagle, Red, Roe and Sikka Deer and an unparalleled amount of bird life. Many visitors are captivated by the area, as we were, and return time and again to the shores of Loch Awe. This 2 bedroom cabin provides accommodations deep in the forest, a short walk from the loch shore. The cabin features parking for 2 cars, an open-plan lounge with a dining and kitchen area, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and shower room. The well-equipped kitchen area has a hob, oven, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, crockery and cutlery. From the lounge area, patio doors give access onto a raised veranda offering forest views. An electric hot tub is available for guests to use for an additional cost of GBP 99.00. Please contact the property before arrival for details. This cabin does not have a log burner.
