Escape to a renovated fishing cabin on a private multi-acre lakefront lot in Gwinnett, just minutes from Stone Mountain. Overlooking peaceful Lake Edwards West, you can spend your days fishing, spotting turtles and herons, or letting the kids enjoy the playground. Evenings are for gathering around the fire pit (seasonal), roasting marshmallows, and soaking in the beauty. With a private drive, ample parking, and wide-open outdoor space, it’s the perfect family retreat to relax and reconnect. The space 🏡 Inside the Cabin • Living Room: Cozy and inviting with plenty of seating, string-light accents, Roku-equipped TVs for streaming (Netflix, Hulu, STARZ, HBO Max), plus puzzles, games, DVDs, and even a record player with records for a nostalgic touch. A faux fireplace doubles as a heater in winter, with extra plug-in heaters and AC units provided for comfort year-round. • Bedrooms: One bedroom with a queen bed, one with a bunk bed, plus an air mattress for added flexibility. Fresh linens, extra blankets, night lights, and thoughtful touches make it family-friendly and relaxing. • Kitchen & Dining: Fully stocked with a stove, microwave, refrigerator, air fryer, Keurig with coffee pods, dishes, glasses, cookware, and essentials like soap, towels, and napkins. A dining space makes it easy to gather for meals. • Bathroom: Clean and practical, with fresh towels provided. 🌲 Outdoor Spaces • Covered Porch: Overlooking the lake with rocking chair and outdoor seating—perfect for coffee at sunrise or winding down at sunset. • Lakefront Fun: The 10-acre lake is stocked with fish, and we provide a few poles (though feel free to bring your favorite!). A swing sits lakeside, and you’re welcome to use our boat with a signed liability waiver. • Play & Explore: A playground for little ones, plus access to a shared older tennis court where kids can play basketball, scooter, or practice tennis. • Fire Pit: Seasonal use for roasting marshmallows and stargazing. • Parking & Privacy: Private drive with ample parking and plenty of acreage to spread out. Guest access Guests enjoy full access to the lake for fishing. While gas-powered boats aren’t permitted, a canoe with paddles is available for use once a waiver is signed. Life vests are provided inside the cabin. The playground, with swings and two slides overlooking the lake, is open year-round for children. Guests also have use of the older shared tennis court, which includes basketball hoops and space for scooters or casual play. All of the grassy areas on the property are part of your stay, offering plenty of room to spread out, explore, or relax. During burn season (October–April), you can gather around the fire pit for cozy evenings outdoors.
