The space Welcome to your oceanfront condo! This charming 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom property is part of the Sea Cabin Condominiums, which sits right on some of the best beachfront in Isle of Palms, and is located close to dining, entertainment and shopping. As an end unit on the second floor, this condo has some of the best ocean views in the entire complex! Things to know prior to booking your stay: The Sea Cabin buildings do not have an elevator. Stairs are used to access all units, including some stairs to the 1st floor. Full Disclosure: There are small bunk beds built into the hallway – they are loved by children. Bunk rails are provided. They’re also a great place to use for extra storage if not being used for sleeping! They measure 24”x72.5” compared to standard twin size of 38”x75”. All units are 490 sq. ft. – they most comfortably accommodate 2 adult guests with smaller children. But while they are smaller, they are still 2x the size of most hotel rooms and include a fully functional kitchen! Please carefully review all photos including the aerial photo that shows the layout of the condo complex to get an idea of where you'll be staying. Washers and Dryers are located next to the pool on the oceanfront; they are coin operated at $3 per load! Parking notes: Each unit is given 1 parking pass. The community pool is not heated and is usually open yearly from April 1 to October 1 depending on the weather. No smoking. A $500 dollar fine will be issued in order to professionally get rid of the odor. No pets on site per condo regime and condo owner. No exception unless ADA documentation is provided prior to your arrival. A $500 dollar fine will be issued if pet(s) are found on site without proper documentation. This property is managed by a local rental agency, located on the island just 1.5 miles from the condo should you need anything during your stay! Enter the home and you’ll find yourself in an entry hallway, with two conveniently cozy built-in twin beds—kids will love sleeping in this spot! Journey onward and you’ll come across the bathroom, which offers a shower-tub combo and a spacious vanity. From here you’ll travel on to the open concept living and kitchen area. The kitchen is fully equipped with high-quality appliances, including a coffee maker! Whip up a tasty breakfast to enjoy with your ocean views or create your own specialty for a big family dinner. The kitchen is beautifully redone and offers a clean and modern feel, with an elegant backsplash and extra counter space. The living area is designed to be your beachy getaway, furnished with a Queen size Memory Foam Pull Out Sleeping Sofa installed Fall of 2021 and a cushy chair. You’ll enjoy plenty of natural light in this area, as there are extra windows since this is an end unit—revel in an ocean view from multiple vantage points! There is a flat-screen TV in the living area with cable, so you can take in a vacation movie night if you wish, or just relax and flip through the channels in-between trips to the beach—there’s also a DVD player if you want to bring your favorites! A four-seater dining set under a large window makes for the perfect place to take your meals, or you can dine al fresco on the ocean-facing balcony. Just past sliding glass doors you can access the balcony, which offers a table and chairs, and as an end unit has unparalleled views. Wake up in the morning to have your coffee with the sunrise over the Atlantic and enjoy a quick and easy walk to the beach just beyond your front door. Inside you’ll find the bedroom, which features a queen-sized bed, ceiling fan, and flat-screen TV—the perfect place to unwind after a long day at the beach! This unit also comes with community amenities, such as the seaside resort-style pool, and use of a private fishing pier. The Sea Cabins put you in touch with the best of the isle lifestyle! The Sea Cabins are 500 square feet and share a Community Pool, Laundry Facility, and have access to a Private Fishing Pier. Located right on Ocean Blvd, this is a Great Location to be within walking distance to Local Restaurants, Grocery Store, Shopping, and the County Park! The Sea Cabin Condominiums are comprised of a three building complex where all units have private balconies overlooking the beach. This is also the only lifeguarded area on the island = comfort in safety! The complex has a large pool. Try your luck at fishing from the 1000-foot fishing pier that is only accessible by condominium owners and guests, or enjoy a relaxing walk on the pier over the breaking waves. Bike, water sport and beach umbrella rentals are available nearby. Shopping, dining, nightly entertainment and post office are a short walk from the complex. ALL BED LINENS, KITCHEN TOWELS, AND BATH TOWEL SETS ARE PROVIDED FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE!! You will only need to bring or plan to rent beach towels, chairs, bikes, umbrellas, etc. Also included is a "starter set" of toiletries such as toilet paper, bath & dish soaps, paper towels, etc. but please do keep in mind you will most likely need to purchase these items after your initial arrival. The Sea Cabin Condominiums share a Community Pool including a kiddie pool, Coin Laundry Facility, and have access to a Private Fishing Pier! These condos are each 500 square feet and are comprised of a three-building complex where all units have private balconies overlooking the beach and Atlantic Ocean. This is also the only lifeguarded area on the island = comfort in safety! A few important notes to be aware: NO HOUSE PARTIES. NO SMOKING. NO PETS. No exceptions! There is a very strict noise ordinance policy on the island that goes into effect at 10pm on weeknights and 11pm on weekend nights. The 1 car limit is also strictly enforced. This house is a family rental and is located near year-round residents. This is not a rental home for bachelor/bachelorette events, wedding groups, youth groups, fraternities/sororities, receptions, or any other types of larger gatherings. We do NOT rent to students or anyone under the age of 21 - no exceptions - even if a parent or legally responsible adult makes the reservation. If such a group occupies or attempts to occupy the property, they will be required to immediately vacate and there will be NO refunds given. Further, this home is strictly a non-pet friendly home. Guest will be fined $500 if a pet is found to be on the property at any time. Guest access The entire condo, the Sea Cabin's swimming pool, fishing pier and beach access. Other things to note Please note: There is a property management company chosen by the homeowner and requires that their rental agreement be signed prior to occupying the property. This agreement will be sent after a reservation is made along with other helpful rental info for your stay. Cancellation Policy: Reservations made and cancelled within 24 hours will be refunded in full. After 24 hours, our cancellation policy goes into effect. Reservations cancelled 6 months prior to arrival will be refunded in full. If a reservation is cancelled less than 6 months prior to arrival, a full deposit refund less a $100.00 booking fee will be made only if the unit is re-rented for the same time and price, and at a pro-rated rate if only rented for the partial amount. The guest will be responsible for the difference in price if re-rented at a lower rate. We do offer and strongly encourage every traveler to purchase travel insurance as well for an added 10.8% or 7% charge depending on which plan you select. If accepted, the 10.8% travel insurance plan must be paid in full within 14 days of making a reservation or you may add the 7% plan up until 30 days prior to your arrival date or final payment is paid, whichever comes first. Travel insurance covers every guest scheduled to come on the trip. Please call us for more information or visit our website for detailed plan information. Upon arrival, if you do not accept the unit you have reserved your deposit will be forfeited. Power/ weather related cancellation: We do not issue refunds due to acts of nature such as: weather, road conditions, snow conditions, power outages, or forest fires. Additionally, we will not issue refunds in the event of a pandemic (for example, Covid-19) or acts of nature such as a hurricane. In light of these events, we strongly urge every reservation to purchase one of the two travel insurance plans that we offer. Hurricane season technically runs from June through October, but is especially more prone to occur in our area from late August through early October.
