La Casetta di Giuly is located in the hamlet of Fossola, within the Cinque Terre National Park, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a 10-minute drive from Riomaggiore, in the area called TRAMONTI (from the Latin TRANS MONTES, beyond the mountains), a true paradise for hiking lovers. Fossola di Tramonti is 8 kilometers from La Spezia and 5 kilometers from Riomaggiore. A village of a few houses overlooking the sea, which enjoy the sunset in front and a unique view in the world. The space The house is nestled in the characteristic Mediterranean scrub among vineyards and olive trees, it can be reached in 5 minutes on foot via a characteristic sandstone staircase, which starts from the parking lot where you can leave your car. After walking a short stretch of steps that slopes down towards the sea, crossing a terrace on your left, in a few steps you will have already arrived at Giuly's house The house consists of a bedroom with bathroom for 4 people, with double bed plus sofa bed, air conditioning and TV. The kitchen is located on the level below and can be reached through a characteristic small external stone staircase, inside you will find a fully equipped kitchen, with dishes, cutlery, oven, microwave and a kettle. Next to the kitchen is a small outdoor area, directly overlooking the green of the plains below and facing the sea. Above the kitchen and in front of the room, there is the large terrace, the highlight of the house, from which you can enjoy a wonderful view and on clear days stretch your gaze to the main islands of the Tuscan archipelago. "There's nothing more musical than a sunset" (Claude Debussy) Citra code 011015-LT-2122 Guest access To reach our home more easily, you have the following options: If you arrive by car from La Spezia, following the signs for the Cinque Terre, once you leave the city center you will take a panoramic uphill road (from there you can enjoy a wide and delightful view of the Gulf of La Spezia), continuing for about 8 km at the exit of the first tunnel you encounter, on your left you will immediately find a large parking lot with the headquarters of the 5 Terre park ??? a bar and a small shop. If you arrive by bus from La Spezia, departing from Piazza Domenico Chiodo or Via Domenico Chiodo, there are 2 or 3 daily departures depending on the season. If you arrive by train, you will have to get off at the Riomaggiore station and get to the departure of the Cinque Terre park bus, ask the driver to let you get off at the stop in the Fossola parking lot, about 10 minutes away. I WILL BE WAITING FOR YOU AT THE PARKING LOT TO ACCOMPANY YOU TO THE HOUSE. Other things to note The house is equipped with bed linens and bath towels that are replaced weekly. You will have remote access to the parking lot located a 5-minute walk from the house and reserved for residents only (we recommend returning the remote control upon your departure). If the parking lot is full, you can leave your car about 150 meters before, in a large public parking lot where there is a bar and a souvenir shop of the Cinque Terre Park. Given the conformation of the territory and the numerous stairs, it is not recommended for people with walking difficulties. For your comfort and easier access to the house, we suggest using backpacks or travel bags instead of wheeled trolleys. Please note that the running water inside the house is NOT POTABLE, but can be used for cooking and preparing coffee. We would like to remind our kind guests that, in addition to the general rules of eco-sustainability now universally recognized, the unique characteristic of the place requires the necessary observance of some simple important rules: respect for crops and spontaneous plants present in the area, respect for silence beyond midnight, differentiated management of garbage and the correct use of parking for residents (it is recommended to display the card provided and take care of it; do not leave the car in the place dedicated to loading and unloading).
