Our immaculate & well cared for vacation home has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 open plan living rooms,-one up, one down, 2 large screen TV's, excellent WiFi, inside bar area and a wood burning stove. Outside there is an 8 person hot tub, flat driveway with plenty of space for 4+ cars and boat or snow mobile trailer parking. House is located right across from lake Tahoe on the main North Lake Blvd and offers filtered lake-views. All North Shore ski & golf resorts are within a 10-15 minute drive from our property. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms: Downstairs- 2 queen beds & 1 bath, Living room and kitchen Upstairs configuration- Master King bedroom, twin bedroom, living room, bathroom, and newly remodeled loft home office with large desk with access to upper deck and partial lake-views. Direct TV satellite and Tivo on both flat screen TV's. Bar/ kitchen counter area. Dining room table with extended leaf has seating for eight+. Table leaf insert and extra chairs are located in the landing area and bedrooms. Great stereo speakers with plug in for iphone and/or laptop Hi-speed wireless internet. Two and a half decks, Upper and Lower with filtered lake views. Large, flat, driveway with plenty of parking and easy access to SR 28. Large 8 person hot tub. Short walk along North Lake Blvd (but no sidewalk) to nearby Carnelian Bay beaches & public pier, 711 convenience store and restaurants such as Garwoods, CB's pizza and The Old Post Office. Nearest beach, lake and pier access is half a mile from house at Watermans Landing. We are located on the main Tahoe transit public bus route (TART) along North Lake Blvd (SR 28). In peak seasons, the bus stops every half hour approx 100 yards from the property. In peak summer & winter- the free 'Tart Connect' shuttle is available from 6-10pm and can take you to many local establishments. You just need to download the app and request a ride. Carnelian Bay is situated only a few minutes by car from both Tahoe City and Kings Beach and is located near numerous pleasant trails for hiking and mountain biking. There are several beautiful beaches nearby. We do not have direct lake access across the street from our house but the nearest public beach is only a half a mile away at Watermans Landing and the nearest public pier (& beach with grass lawn) is half mile away at Garwoods. We live in the area and while we stay off site in another location, we are usually readily available to come to the house within a short time to address any issues or concerns. Lots of walking and hiking trails up the street behind our property. Mini golf, 711 and our local bars and restaurants are only a half a mile away. While you can walk to the nearby town of Carnelian Bay via the main North Lake Blvd, there is no sidewalk and the main road can get busy in the summer. We recommend taking the back streets or the national forest easement behind our house to avoid road traffic. Yes- the local bus system called TART drops off and picks up our guests at a bus stop on highway 28 just 100 yards from the property. Please inquire with the exact number of guests that will be staying at the house. Any evidence of inaccurate guest count, or if our 'NO smoking or NO pet' rule is broken, will result in the forfeiture of the full security deposit on hold. We are located right across from Lake Tahoe but that also means we are located on the main road (NLB) that rings around the lake. It can get busy in the summer. We fully disclose this so if you stay and end up reviewing us, please consider awarding us a fair rating on our 'location'. While we would like to be located further away from the street, unfortunately, we cannot move the house. Many guests under rate us on our location which brings down our overall rating. * Due to the temperate climate, like most homes/condos in Tahoe, this one does not have Air Conditioning but there are several fans available in the event that we have an unusual hot spell. California is prone to wildfires and winter storms. We cannot provide refunds or credits for poor air quality, winter storms, power outages or road closures as these natural weather occurrences and elements are beyond our control. If these are major concerns for your travel, please consider booking closer to your travel date and/or buying trip insurance.
