No-cost 48 hour boat tie up may be available at the village dock and the dock at the State Department of Environmental Conservation Research Station. There is a public boat launch ramp in the village. The vehicle ferry to Kingston, Ontario leaves from Cape Vincent. Boat tours of the islands and castles are available from nearby Clayton, Alexandria Bay, and Gananoque, Ontario. Cape Vincent is home to the annual French Festival .Maple Grove is the home of the annual Thousand Islands International Piano Competition for Young People. Maple Grove is located on the mainland.
