Perlhütte is a residential area of the climatic spa Waldmünchen in the Oberer Bayerischer Wald Nature Park and is very beautifully located opposite Lake Perlsee. Located at the front door of Perlhütte, the Perlsee invites you to walk with its circular path. For hikers, lovers of nature and mountain biking, our area is an Eldorado. A foot and bike path leads past Perlhütte both to the border to the Czech Republic and to Waldmünchen, called "Woldminga" by the locals. This is the nearest bigger place with shopping. There are also two beautiful children's playgrounds in the village as well as a football field that invites our little guests to let off steam. The"Perlsee Experience Room" offers an ITP"low ropes course", fishing, swimming fun in the Perlsee, pedal boat rental, a campsite, a lake restaurant with terrace and a mini golf course. Since June 2011 there is the adventure playground "robber's cave". In case of bad weather or in winter, a visit to the Aquafit adventure pool in Waldmünchen is recommended. Perlhütte is located on the edge of the forest near the Czech mountain Cerchov (1,042 m). From here, the Cerchov can hike on foot or by mountain bike. However, on the hike to Mount Cerchov, about 6 kilometers of distance and about 500 meters of altitude must be overcome through the forest. The effort is worthwhile: in good weather conditions, you have a wonderful all-round view of our region on the lookout tower of the Cerchov.
