A communal swimming pool is available for guests and owners, open from May 15 to September 30. “Il Rifugio sul mare…” can comfortably accommodate up to four people. The garden belonging to the house is embellished by the presence of native and tropical flowers and plants such as to create an even more private and comfortable environment for guests. From the terrace, living room and double bedroom, you can enjoy a direct view of the sea accompanied by the sloping hills between olive groves and olive trees; the vineyards are not far away... The mountains, which surround the valley and hills, will be visible from the other windows of the house. The "Rifugio" is such in all respects, there will be no lack of comfort and attention, but given its private location and protected by granite walls, the internet and telephone connection will be weak (it will be my pleasure to point out the most favorable reception points inside the house). If you need to take advantage of a better signal, you will have to take a few steps and go to the nearby parking space reserved for the house and adjacent to it. For this reason, I am NOT able to provide WiFi service. The signal in the pool area will be maximum. Remember that the pool is condominium and compliance with some small rules will be required to protect you, the neighbors and the truly enchanting place. Guest access You can find supermarkets, restaurants and pizzerias nearby during the summer season, off-season you will find the same services in the town of Tertenia. You will be provided with every detail upon your arrival. Other things to note You are in Ogliastra, in the Gulf of Sarrala, a land that must be observed and experienced with an attentive and respectful, unconventional gaze, full of enchanting views. Its coasts are nestled between the sea and the mountains: oases of rare charm. In every season, colors and scents follow one another in scenarios of unspoiled beauty, allowing tourists to enjoy the most diverse experiences thanks to the particular geographical conformation of the territory that rises from the beaches to the hills to reach the mountains of Gennargentu. Suggestive places that can be visited on foot, on horseback, by bicycle, by car or off-road vehicle. On the other hand, Ogliastra is considered the land of trekking, mountain biking and climbing par excellence, particularly with regard to the inland areas of Supramonte, Gennargentu and Tacchi d'Ogliastra. Sea lovers will find boats available to take them to discover the beautiful Ogliastra coast and its beaches: to the north Cala Luna, Cala Sisine, Cala Mariolu and Cala Goloritzé; further south Tancau, Girasole beach, Orrì, Cea, Marina di Barisardo and Cardedu, Coccorrocci and the Gulf of Sarrala where the house is located. You can also reach the huge monolith overlooking the sea on the Baunei coast called Agugliastra (or Pedra Longa) by car. From a historical-archaeological point of view, the whole territory is worthy of attention, there are Nuraghi, Domus de Janas, Fonti Sacre, Tombs of the Giants and Menhirs.
