Welcome to our home on the range overlooking the majestic San Juan and Cimarron mountains. At nearly 8,000 feet atop Log Hill mesa, this mountain retreat offers the most spectacular views the western slope of Colorado has to offer. Perfectly situated between Ouray (30 minutes), Ridgway (20 minutes) and Telluride (1 hour), enjoy 35 private and wooded acres of hike, mountain bike, horse, snowmobile, cross country ski and snowshoe trails right outside your doorstep. The space PLEASE NOTE: We have a resident barn cat that lives on the property. She is very friendly and loves people. As this is her home, we are not able to put her away or remove her from the area as she relies on being outside for food and water sources. If anyone has a cat allergy or cannot be around cats, please take this into consideration before booking. Space includes: 2nd Floor: 2 Bedrooms (Queen in each) and 1 full bathroom with standup shower Main Level: 1 Bedroom (King bed), Electric Fireplace with Ensuite Bathroom that includes a 5-foot custom tile shower, Kitchen, Dining Room, Laundry, and Living Room with Electric Fireplace. Basement: Huge Bedroom with 2 Queen Beds and Secretary Desk, Kitchen, Living Room with TV, newly redone bathroom with custom tiled rock floor shower, and built-in bunkbeds (full on bottom and twin on top). The basement also has a separate entrance with a mud room that is perfect for housing your pup while you are away. This listing includes 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 living rooms, and 2 kitchens. There are doors which separate the 3 levels which can be nice for multiple families. Both up stair guest rooms have private balconies with mountain views which are spectacular! The main floor family room offers plenty of natural light with a spacious kitchen and dining table for eight, comfy leather sofa and chairs by the fireplace and a wall of windows to enjoy the inspiring scenery. Step outside on the deck and relax into the tranquil surroundings - be sure to watch for the alpenglow and millions of stars at night. Have a romantic getaway or bring the kids - the ranch has something for everyone. Other things to note Our ranch consists of 35 acres so guests are allowed to roam and explore our beautiful land. There is currently a 1.75 trail that meanders through the South portion of our ranch. Horses and mountain bikes are allowed on this trail. We are also located within 3 miles of McKenzie Butt and BLM land. There is ample parking for your UTV's. Explore the fun shops and jeep tours in Ouray, the delicious restaurants and farmers market in Ridgway, and the slopes of Telluride.
