This luxury retreat is nestled between two rivers—where the iconic Methow meets the grand Columbia—in the heart of the sleepy town of Pateros. The 2700 square foot guesthouse features a large, private riverfront deck, a spacious open floor plan, vaulted ceilings, large river and mountain-view windows, Casper hybrid mattresses, a fully-equipped modern kitchen with double ovens, dishwasher, induction cooktop, large refrigerator/freezer, custom cabinets, and granite countertops. Guests have exclusive use of the entire top floor (four bedrooms, three full bathrooms). The master suite houses a king bed with an attached master bath that includes heated floors, double sinks, a huge walk-in shower and walk-in closet. A shared riverfront patio area and propane grill are also available for guest use. A public access boat launch and Columbia waterfront park are an easy two-minute drive, or pleasant waterfront walk from the guesthouse, making this the ideal retreat for Columbia salmon fisherman or Methow trout fisherman seeking a home away from home. Two Rivers Guesthouse is directly across the street from the community waterfront park, which includes a riverfront walking path and playset for kids. The walking path is maintained even in the winter! We have an on-site splash pad adjacent to the building for kids in the summer. The Pateros Bakery is a one minute walk from your door with fresh coffee, salads, sandwiches, pizza and treats! There is ample parking. Instructions will be provided with your check-in info. There is a small swimming beach at the mouth of the Methow, which is about a 2 minute drive from the guesthouse. Other than that, the nearest swimming is at Alta Lake or Lake Chelan. There is no swimming on the waterfront in front of the guesthouse, although it is an excellent place to fish or boat. Please see my digital guidebook for more local recommendations. A hard-copy guidebook is also available to guests upon check-in. Pateros is small enough that you can walk the length of the town. We have a detailed guidebook available for guests upon check in for all of our food, drink and activity recommendations for the area. Washer and dryer are available *exclusively* for guests booking three nights or longer. We set up one twin rollaway bed for each guest over 8 people, with full bedding and pillows, up to a maximum of 12 guests (four rollaway beds). One bed will be set up in each bedroom, but may be moved by guests to whatever room or configuration they prefer. These twin beds are not set up unless your party has more than 8 guests. If your party requires an extra bed, but you have *fewer* than 8 guests, you MUST let me know. Our standard room configuration is shown in the picture: Master bedroom has one king bed; Bedroom 2 has one queen bed; Bedroom 3 has one queen bed; Bedroom 4 has two twin beds. This is our standard setup, as pictured in the listing photos. Rollaway beds are not pictured in photos. PLEASE NOTE: The first floor entryway has two interior doors that may appear to guests as though they are connected to the first floor businesses. THEY ARE NOT. The guest space is totally secure and separated from the first floor businesses, as noted in my listing. One door is a storage unit that is totally walled off from the businesses below (it is unlocked, so if you are concerned, open it and check it out). The other door is a locked elevator that is not in service for guests due to liability reasons. If you have further questions, please contact me.
