This 2 bedroom condo within 2 miles of two world-famous ski resorts offers 1,250 square feet of living space and complimentary ski shuttle service to either Alta or Snowbird. There’s something for everyone with a community hot tub, a cozy gas fireplace, fully stocked kitchen, a private washer/dryer, and accommodations for 6 guests! The entire condo is yours to enjoy for your vacation! Hellgate is nestled below Highway 210 and it is accessed by long covered stairways. This property does have more stairs than some of the others and guests take advantage of the stairs for their morning warm up before hitting the slopes or trails. At the end of the day you can unwind and relax in the beautiful common area hot tub. Common area hot tub is closed periodically in the summer. If you have ambulatory concerns, please reach out to us before booking. As always the Hellgate staff is happy to assist guests with baggage, equipment and groceries. Check in information is sent via the AirBnB app the day before your arrival. On-site staff is available during business hours, and by phone for all emergencies, and maintenance staff may conduct daily checks as appropriate. Otherwise we stay out of your hair to allow you privacy during your stay! From the middle of December - March complimentary transportation is available to Alta throughout the day. Taxi service is available for a minimal fee in the evenings. Need a ride from the airport? We can help arrange round trip transportation. If you prefer to drive yourself make sure you have 4 wheel drive in the winter months! NOTE Access to this home requires 70+ stairs No elevator onsite Condo is located in Building #2/Level 2 SHUTTLE ACCESS TO ALTA AND SNOWBIRD The shuttle stop is located just outside the entrance to the Hellgate Buildings. The complimentary shuttle to both Alta and Snowbird runs daily from the last week of December to the first week of April. INTERLODGE Interlodge is a restriction on outdoor travel and activity ordered by the Alta Town Marshall. The Marshal's office, and/or Snowbird Safety, may require, at any time, that guests stay indoors until avalanche control and road danger is mitigated. Sometimes it involves the whole Alta/Snowbird area and sometimes just certain sections in the canyon. The Alta Town Marshall and Snowbird Safety work hard to keep everyone in the area safe with little disruption to outdoor recreation. These events are beyond our control in our winter playground. Usually, avalanche work commences in the early morning hours and is completed before the resorts open - but there are occasions when interlodge can be put into effect during the day and guests can be housebound for longer periods of time.
