The View at Surfer's Beach (Lower Unit Only)

Clean and brand new custom built cottage overlooking the world famous Surfer's Beach! Wake up in the morning, walk out onto the large deck and check the surf while you have a coffee, or just look out the window and check it from there :) If you're planning to surf, THIS IS THE PLACE TO STAY! It will save you time and lots of energy in hiking your board to the beach. Also, you'll know if the waves are good from the tremendous view on the deck. The cottage is up on pilings and out of the bush. This is an incredible advantage over any ground level place on Eleuthera when it comes to biting bugs. Also, it is on the Oceanside and this makes a huge difference when you sit outside on the deck for hours and take in The View! The retro style hurricane shutters allow for maximum airflow, that combined with a high house elevation, help you to enjoy the refreshing trade winds of The Bahamas. There are also ceiling fans in each room if you feel the need. For your comfort, he AC will be removed from Oct-April. This is the downstairs unit of a 2 unit cottage. This Unit is a studio flat. Not to worry, both units are completely independent of each other with separate entrances and are self sufficient. If you have more than 2 people in your group, you can book the upstairs unit for up to 4 more people and share the entire cottage if it is available. There is plenty of parking for large groups and get togethers. Next door you will find an adventure tour company where you can book tours of the island, get surfing lessons and rent beach equipment such as surfboards, kayaks, body boards etc.
