Family owned for over 40 years! Located right on Lake Huron, bask in the sun on the private 50 foot beach, view freighters or sail boats from either the back porch, large, water-facing windows or wooden swings on our vast backyard lawn. Seek quiet solitude as you can listen to the rolling waves from inside the fully-furnished home! The space The beach is back this year! Due to high water levels in 2020, the beach was non-existent. In 2021, the water levels have gone down and now you can enjoy our full, private beach with steps leading down from our lawn. COVID-19: I pride myself on the cleanliness of my cottage and take every measure to ensure the space is thoroughly cleaned between each guest. All surfaces are disinfected to prepare for your arrival. The beach front is private and not shared between properties. The Green House has been in our family for over 35 years. The Green House features a 50 ft. private beach on Lake Huron in a quiet residential area. The Green House actually faces majestic Lake Huron affording picture perfect views of freighters and boaters on the lake. You can view the lake from the Master Bedroom, Living Room and porch of the house. In addition, the gentle sounds of the lake rolling in have the power to soothe even the most frazzled. You’ll wonder why you didn’t do this sooner! The Green House comes fully furnished and includes bed linens. So that you might enjoy The Green House’s quiet solitude, it does not have a telephone, however, the house does feature Cable TV if you wish to watch on unfortunate days of unfavorable weather. In consideration to our future guests, we do request that The Green House remain Smoke & Pet Free. New for 2013: Kitchen appliances, carpeting and living room furniture!! Private 50 ft Beach!! Central Air Conditioning!! 1,000 Square Feet Accommodates up to 6 adults and 1 child Fully carpeted Two Bedrooms (one full, one queen bed and sofa bed) Modern Kitchen complete with: microwave, oven, coffee maker, toaster, dishes and silverware. New kitchen table that seats 6 City water supply Laundry room with brand new washer, dryer and large sink. I supply detergent and cling free sheets. Large bathroom with tub, shower and dual sinks Heated for those chilly mornings and large ceiling fans in all rooms Master bedroom, living room, and large porch all overlook Lake Huron Lawn furniture, picnic table, grill for your lounging pleasure - Perfect for an outdoor picnic! Large Private lawn area is perfect for yard games or just catching some rays Private Beach with fire pit - please bring your own fire wood. Private lawns in both front and back of house- overlooking the beach on one side and luscious greenery fills the other! Your overnight guests are welcome, up to the stated capacity of The Green House Please inquire at time of reservation about boats and trailers No large gatherings, please! Guests are required to provide: Towels and washcloths Paper products (toilet paper, napkins, tissue, paper towels) Small garbage bags for kitchen and bathroom baskets Flashlight, if desired Guest access The home, grounds and private beach are available for access. The garage is not available for access.
