The home is situated on 3 acres with 75 yards of stream-front. Easy access to Aspen and Snowmass Village 12 miles away and shopping 5 miles away. The home is owned by Ted Flanigan, President of an energy and environmental consulting firm based in Los Angeles. He raised his two daughters there and rebuilt it in 1986 as a passive solar large sunny windows on the south, with active solar radiant heating in the master bedroom suite added in 1997. The Shore House was originally built in 1974 by Ron Shore and was accredited as one of the top 100 most innovative solar homes in America.
