With 24 feet of new windows overlooking Mallets Bay. You will wake up to the amazing views and sunrises. Birding and binoculars a must as Bald Eagles, Osprey, Terns, Egrets, Blue Herons and much more will delight you as you drink coffee/tea from your living room recliners! You will have total and exclusive access to the entire property which offers peace and relaxation. Don't forget your slippers! We have lived in the Burlington area our entire lives and will be happy to offer suggestions to make your stay a memorable one. We are accessible from 7am to 9pm by cell phone unless an emergency occurs, in which case we live 20 minutes away. Along with the amazing Lake views and access to the Causeway Bike Path, our property offers great privacy. The enclosed patio and indoor views offer unobstructed access to the lake...and the Causeway Bike Path 250' from our door. From our Lke Cottage: 15:00 car ride to downtown Burlington and UVM; less than 30:00 bike ride to Burlington's Echo Center; a short 7:00 car ride to the outdoor Sunset Drive-In Movie Theater; CauseWay Bikepath and Bike Ferry to South Hero for maple creamies; 1 hour to Ben and Jerry's tour in Waterbury. Approximate travel time to Mills Point, Colchester, VT: 4-hours from Boston, 5-hours from NYC, 2-hours from Montreal. We have owned this cottage for 30+ years. With our four adult children out of the house, it is time to share our Lake Cottage, on a year-round basis, with others. Summer is obvious... but Fall and Winters are awesome at the lake! Great fishing, including ice fishing. One of the largest pike caught in Mallets Bay, was caught with ice fishing tip-ups-right in front of our cottage.
