Welcome to our Downtown Charmer apartment! Beautiful, recently updated 1 Bedroom/1 Bath apartment that is part of a larger home. This space is on the 2nd floor, with a private staircase entrance. This lovely retreat is peaceful and relaxed and only a few blocks to Carpinteria Beach. We are located less than a block from our main downtown area on Linden Ave. There is well over 20 restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream and candy specialty shops, you name it - to provide culinary delights. The space We provide comfortable accommodation for 4 adults. (Or 2 adults and 2 children). ~Looking for a quiet, comfortable retreat? Complete with ocean breezes and pleasant furnishings, we've got you covered. ~Looking for a family-friendly space? Providing books, toys and pack n play, we've got you covered. KING bedroom with ample space and lighting, queen sleeper bed in sofa. Luxury linens and towels provided. There is wood floors, lots of light and thoughtful touches throughout. The kitchen is well-stocked for all of your food preparation needs. There is a large microwave, large toaster oven, and a full-size fridge. It features a convenient drawer-style dishwasher. Also for cooking there is a hot plate and plug-in griddle for pancakes and the like. (There is no stove-top or formal oven.) The kitchen has ample counter space and a deep sink, and overhead there is a skylight. (We are fully walk-able to 20+ restaurants, so we find that most of our guests don't do a lot of cooking.) The bathroom has ornate tile-work, a bowl sink and fun decorative touches. The stacked washer/dryer is available for your use. Relax on the balcony, and enjoy the view of downtown Carpinteria, complete with many palm trees. Parking is available for one car behind the apartment, and there is plenty of street parking for any other vehicles. Since this apartment is attached to our home, this is NOT the right space for guests looking to come and party. Check in is 4:00 pm (and no later than 12:00 am please), and check out is 11:00 am. Carpinteria License # 1002-HS-21 (Carpinteria Transient Occupancy Tax of 12% is included in the AirBnb rate.) Guest access If you bring bikes or a stroller, you are welcome to keep it beneath the outer staircase. It should be safe there, as it is behind our back gate. (Though you assume all liability.) Other things to note There is a TV/DVD player, and some DVDs provided. Also can access your own personal Netflix account through the DVD player. (Cable TV not available.) Providing children's toys, books, movies and also pack n play for your little one. Beach towels and boogy boards available as well.
